To whom it may concern,

My name is Michael Renaud and I’m currently a full-time MEP Designer/Jr Engineer with Parsons Brinckerhoff | WSP for the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority's Purple Line Extension Project located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, CA.  Being apart of the Mechanical, Electrical (Power, Systems, Traction Power and Communications), Plumbing (Sanitary System, Domestic Water, Drainage and Fire Protection) or for shorter terms; The MEP Team, I helped develop/create most .rfa (“Parametric Families”) content, our MEP project Template...which is an on going task in its self.  As luck may have it I’ve been pegged with the title of being the “go-to guy”  for any Revit/CAD related questions. Working with PB|WSP  has been an educational experience and so has been working from our DTLA project office . The dynamics of a project office has truly equipped me with a better understanding of how the design process flows from architect to engineer to project owner and to the contractor for its actual construction.

Prior with my time  at PB | WSP I’ve gained engineering/design experience from a few well establish firms in a couple major cities (NYC, Phila., LA) within the U.S.A..  Fortunately for me, I know Revit well. Learning the parametric modeling software's (Catia & ProE) that I was trained on back in the early stages of my education/work experience really gave me a major jump-start passed the learning curve that’s associated with Autodesk's Revit.  Coming from a 3D  CAM mindset is much different than a 2D CAD mindset when it comes to implementing Revit. Since learning Revit back in 2007 I’ve been on a wide variety of architectural, mechanical, electrical and structural projects which I take great pride in being part of.

I’m a self-driven individual with a long list of software proficiencies and a list of characteristics that could prove I’m the person you and your company maybe looking for. I’m very eager to learn new things and or delegate what I’ve learned through my past experiences. I’m very confident in all my abilities  to perform whatever task could arise and would have no issue meeting any crazy deadline within a projects duration .Also I will be bringing my strong basic computer proficiencies in MS Word, MS Excel, Flux  and other database applications. Please see the accompanying resume for details of my experience and education.

Feel free to call me at 213.915.1053 (cellular) or via e-mail duaner.ekim@gmail.com to arrange an interview. Thank you for your time—I look forward to learning more about this opportunity!

Sincerely,
